55 நாட்களில் 5000 கி.மீ சைக்கிள் பயணம் மேற்கொண்ட இளைஞர்

நன்றாக நண்பர்களுடன் அரட்டையடித்து, செய்யும் வேலையை நேசித்து வாழ்க்கையை அனுபவிக்க வேண்டிய வயதில் டெல்லியை சேர்ந்த 24 வயது இளைஞர் ஒருவர் சைக்கிள் பயணம் மேற்கொண்டு உள்ளார். அதுவும் ராஞ்சியில் இருந்து சிங்கப்பூர் செல்வதற்கு. கிட்டத்தட்ட 55 நாட்களில் 6000 கி.மீ வரை அவர் பயணித்து உள்ளார் என்றால் நம்ப முடிகிறதா?

Whenever I converse with people I get the similar questions or statements i.e. – you are so brave you are doing all this – where are you getting the money from – how do you do this – do you not feel afraid to do all such crazy things – what about the safety – what about the risks – you are like an inspiration – how did you start it – how can I start following the passion You know all these questions are just question before starting anything or going on the adventure. No one ask questions about the difficulty during the journey like how is it sleeping in a forest alone, how is to cross the sea on a cycle, how is it to live with strangers. The reason is because the most difficult part is not during the journey, it's before the journey. "It's actually taking the first step". That's what people are more afraid of. My question is when you are no afraid of the risks involved in the adventure then why are you so afraid of taking the challenge to take that risk maybe it change your life like it changed mine. ஹிமான்ஷு கோயல் என்ற இளைஞர் தான் படித்து கொண்டிருந்த சி.ஏ. படிப்பில் தேர்ச்சி பெற முடியாத தருணம் அவருக்குள் சைக்கிள் பயணம் ஐடியாவை உண்டாக்கியது. அதனை தொடர்ந்து கடந்த ஆகஸ்ட் 20 ஆம் தேதி தனது சைக்கிள் பயணத்தை மேற்கொண்டார்.அத்தியாவசியமான பொருட்களை மட்டுமே எடுத்துக்கொண்டு தொடங்கிய இந்த பயணம் முதல் 150 கி.மீ வரை எந்த எதிர்பார்ப்பும் இல்லாமல் , எந்த ஸ்பான்சரும் இல்லாமல், பயணம் செய்யும் உள்ளூர் மக்களை மட்டுமே நம்ப வேண்டியிருந்தது.

I love this quote by a cyclist who travelled the whole world on a bicycle. He said and I quote "life is not boring it's just you don't have a bicycle". And now I think he might be true. You know I was on my way to cross the Thailand – Malaysia border and it started raining heavily and there were uphill climbs in between with head winds. But what do you say when life ask you to give up "not today". You think your life has challenges and it is difficult, try cycling on a 60° slope, all wet in rain with head wind coming and carrying a luggage of almost 15kgs. Well how's that for life lessons ? because that's the lesson I learnt during this incredible journey. கடந்த ஆண்டு வெறும் 10 கி.மீ.க்கு மேல் சைக்கிள் ஓட்டாத ஹிமாஷு இந்த ஆண்டு தொடக்கத்தில் மணாலியில் இருந்து லடாக் வரை சைக்கிள் பயணம் மேற்கொண்டார். இலக்கை அடைய அவருக்கு ஆறு நாட்கள் பிடித்தன. இதனை அவர் தனது சிங்கப்பூர் பயணத்திற்கு முன்மாதிரியாக எடுத்துக்கொண்டார். தனது 55 நாட்கள் பயணத்தில், ​​திரிபுரா, அசாம், மணிப்பூர், பங்களாதேஷ், மியான்மர், தாய்லாந்து, மலேசியா மற்றும் இறுதியாக சிங்கப்பூர் உள்ளிட்ட பல இடங்களுக்குச் சென்றார்.

Bagan is probably one of the most visited places in Myanmar. It is just magical. To be here is totally worthy. The positive vibes which I am getting here are seriously like to be in heaven. This heart of mine was made to travel this world. After reaching in Bagan, I feel that I am on my way. The impulse to travel is one of the hopeful symptoms of life. I am in love with cities I've never been to and people I've never met. On my journey, I learnt that travelling makes one modest. Even though I am facing many hurdles on my journey but still to my mind, The greatest reward and luxury of travel is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time. I have learnt that travel is always about the experiences not the destination. I travel for travel's sake, not to go anywhere. This journey of mine gives me an experience that without new experiences something inside of us sleeps and the sleeper must awaken. It is a big world out there, it would be a shame not to experience it because travel is getting to know yourself and your strength by facing new experiences. Trust me, it's paradise. This is where the hungry come to feel. For mine is a generation that circles the globe and searches for something we have not tried before. And if these experiences hurt, you know what? ஹிமான்ஷூவுக்கு ஒரு சுற்றுலா விசா இருந்தது. அதனை மற்ற நாடுகளுக்கு கடப்பதற்கு அவர் பயன்படுத்தினார். அதிலும் அவர் தாய்லாந்தை அடைந்தபோது அவருக்கு 15 நாட்களுக்கு மட்டுமே விசா கிடைத்தது. 15 நாட்களில் அவர் கிட்டத்தட்ட 1500 கி.மீ தூரமுள்ள முழு நாட்டையும் கடக்க வேண்டியிருந்தது. ஆனால் குறிப்பிட்ட காலத்திற்குள் அதனை கடந்து சாதித்தார்.

ஹிமான்ஷுவின் பயணத்தின்போது அவர் ஏராளமான துன்பங்களை அனுபவித்ததாக தெரிவித்துள்ளார். மலேசியாவில் ஒரு கோவிலில் இருந்த போதுஉள்ளூர் பையன் ஒருவன் பைக்கில் கத்தியும் கல்லும் கொண்டு அவனைத் தாக்கினான். மேலும் ஹிமாஷுவின் சைக்கிள் டயர்களை பஞ்சர் செய்து பணத்திற்காக மிரட்டி கடைசியில் வாட்சை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு ஓடியதாக குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார். அதேபோல் அசாமைக் கடக்கும்போது அவர் மீது கார் மோதியது. இதில் அவருக்கு உடலில் காயம் ஏற்பட்டது.
